Troon Village real estate is a 1,400 acre golf community that surrounds Troon Mountain. Because the elevation of Troon Village is around 2,500 feet, temperatures are a few degrees cooler than the surrounding Phoenix areas. The area is bordered by E Jomax Road, 118th St, E Happy Valley Road and Alma School Road. There are over 20 unique subdivisions of townhouses, semi-custom homes, custom spec homes, and residential homesites. Many of the homes offer golf or mountain views in gated, guard gated, or non-gated communities. The community tends to appeal to a lot of empty nesters and second home owners.  

Things to do: Troon Village is home to Troon Golf Club, which features a beautiful golf course that was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. The golf club also offers a fitness facility, tennis, swimming, as well as formal and informal dining. You can enjoy hiking at nearby Pinnacle Peak, where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Sonoran desert and the native plants/animals along the 1.75 mile trail (one way). Brown’s Ranch and the McDowell Sonoran Desert Preserve also offer trails to enjoy hiking, mountain biking and even horse back riding.  

Troon Village offers many restaurants and shopping options within the community, as well as the surrounding communities of DC Ranch and Grayhawk. Kierland Commons, Scottsdale Quarters and Desert Marketplace are about 20 minutes away and offer more options as well. The Thompson Peak Scottsdale Healthcare and Mayo Clinic are a short distance away and the Loop 101 freeway is easily accessible.  

Schools: The area is part of Cave Creek School District and is served by Desert Sun Academy, Sonoran Trails Middle School and Cactus Shadows High School.
