The highly sought after Grayhawk real estate is in a four square mile area in North Scottsdale between the Loop 101 Freeway, and Scottsdale Rd and Pima Rd. Home construction in the premier master-planned community began in 1995, with some of the builders including Cachet, Continental, Edmond-Toll, Monterey and TW Lewis, just to name a few. There are more than 4,000 homes between two distinct neighborhoods that are interconnected, The Park and The Retreat.

The Park – Located on the west half of Grayhawk between Scottsdale Rd and Hayden Rd. Neighborhoods tend to be more family-oriented and there are multiple pocket parks, green belts, and playground areas. Home sizes range from approximately 1,300 to 4,500 square feet. There are 8 subdivisions of single-family homes, with one story and two story options, and four subdivisions of luxury condominiums/apartments. Pinnacle at The Park is the only gated subdivision in The Park section.

The Retreat – Located on the east half of Grayhawk between Hayden Rd and Scottsdale Rd. Two guard gated communities (Raptor and Talon) have 15 subdivisions of single-family homes and four subdivisions of luxury condominiums/apartments. Homes range in size from approximately 1,800 to 5,000 square feet, but there are some larger homes in the Serenity subdivision. Serenity is located in the Raptor side, and contains 33 custom home lots that sits at the highest elevation in Grayhawk, providing beautiful views of the surrounding cities and mountains. Golf lots are available in The Retreat since the neighborhoods wind around the two golf courses of Grayhawk Golf Club. There are seven individual pools/spa, six tennis courts and several basketball courts. An extra HOA fee is accessed for homes located in The Retreat because of the guarded gates and maintenance of the pools/spas.

Things to do:

Grayhawk Golf Club offers two 18 hole public courses that are kept in pristine condition. There are many other top rated golf courses nearby, like the TPC Scottsdale, which hosts the yearly and crowd pleasing Waste Management Phoenix Open.
The 29 acre Thompson Peak Park and the 13 acre Grayhawk Park offer lighted tennis/basketball courts, softball/baseball/soccer fields, volleyball courts and playgrounds.
The Boys and Girls Club of Scottsdale Thunderbirds Branch provide after school programs, sports, and summer camps.
Westworld of Scottsdale is only 10-15 min away and hosts numerous events throughout the year, including the very popular Barret-Jackson Scottsdale Auction and the Arabian Horse Show.
There are plenty of opportunities to hike at nearby Pinnacle Peak and McDowell Sonoran Preserve, which offers 120 miles of non-motorized, multi-use trails.
Appaloosa Library, one of many Scottsdale Public Libraries, is nearby and offers various programs for kids throughout the year.
The Grayhawk community is approximately seven miles away from the popular Kierland Commons, Scottsdale Quarters, and Desert Ridge shopping centers. But if you don’t want to leave the community, there are plenty of restaurants and shops at Grayhawk Plaza and Hayden Peak Crossing that are walking distance. The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Arizona State University, Old Town Scottsdale and Downtown Phoenix are all less than 30min away.
