Desert Ridge real estate is centrally located allowing easy access to the entire valley. The Loop 101 and HWY 51 are only minutes away, making the commute to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Downtown Phoenix, and North/South Scottsdale all approximately 30 minutes away or less.

The 5,700-acre mixed-used development in North Phoenix, is located just north of Loop 101, south of Pinnacle Peak Road, west of Scottsdale Road and east of Cave Creek Road. Some of the many builders for the community include Toll Brothers, DR Horton, Del Webb and Pulte Homes. Construction began in the late 90s and new construction still continues today, with open land still undeveloped. When the community is finally completed, it is estimated to house approximately a little over 50,000 residents.

There are gated and golf lots available, with housing options ranging from townhouses, condominiums, patio homes, single family and semi-custom homes. There are approximately eight different communities, with over 20 subdivisions. Many of the communities have community centers with pools, fitness centers, tennis courts, basketball courts and parks.

Schools: Children attend Wildfire Elementary School, Desert Trails Elementary School, Explorer Middle School and Pinnacle High School, all part of Paradise Valley School District. Both the elementary schools and the middle school are within the community and walking distance.

Things to do in the area: Nearby is the JW Marriott Resort & Spa, which is the home to the Desert Ridge public golf course, Wildfire Golf Club. The golf club has two 18-hole championship courses that were designed by Arnold Palmer and Nick Faldo. Across from the JW Marriott is the Desert Ridge Marketplace and City North, providing everything you need from a gas station, grocery store, bank, stores and restaurants. Desert Ridge Marketplace has 1.2 million square feet of retail space and City North’s High Street is a mixed-used development that contains dining, shopping, residential condos above the street and office spaces.

Minutes away from the community is the highly acclaimed Mayo Clinic Hospital, the American Express Regional Camp, and the popular Musical Instrument Museum.
